China visa application

We’ll be sending in our China visa application this week. Karen, Hua Mei and I all got passport pictures taken since we need to include them with the forms. It’s interesting what a difference a couple of years makes. Hua Mei actually sat still this time for the picture and we didn’t even have to coax her to look into the camera. Grace got us her passport and the passport pictures. Laurel is sending us Abby’s and her filled out forms and passports. I should get that either today or tomorrow. Once I got it, we’ll be sending all of our materials to a courier in Chicago who will deliver it to the Chinese Consulate there. Once our visas get processed, the courier will pick them up and return our passports to us. They insert the visa into our passports. We also sent in Hua Mei’s Chinese passport which the consulate will invalidate.
